Matt Wittman

Matt Wittman

With licensure and degrees in landscape design and architecture from Colorado State University and UC Berkeley, where he was awarded the Gerson Prize for Design excellence, Matt has been practicing since 1998 in California and Washington.

At GLS, Matt has worked on the Exploratorium Museum, New Stanford Hospital, and multiple technically complex green roofs and landscapes over structure. Prior to joining GLS, Matt was an architect with the Seattle office of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, where he was a designer for landscapes, houses, apartments, and student residences, and was the chair for the Strategic Planning Design Initiative for R+D and Design.

Matt is a visiting critic in the Departments of Architecture at University of Washington and University of Oregon, and is a LEED accredited professional.
