April 24, 2023 – GLS is happy to share that 388 Fulton has received a Merit Award in Residential Design in the 2023 ASLA Northern California Chapter Awards.

388 Fulton near San Francisco’s City Hall is one of the last remaining parcels created as a result of the 1989 earthquake and subsequent removal of the Central Freeway. The central courtyard is designed around the flow of stormwater, functioning as both a landscape amenity and a working piece of green infrastructure. The project maximizes stormwater treatment capacity on site and reduces the burden on the city’s stormwater system during extreme weather events. Click here to learn more about this project.

Congratulations to our project partners and to our fellow award winners. The full list of awards is here.
