The Mojave Rivers Ranger Station is located in California's Antelope Valley, along the western edge of the Mojave Desert. The design team sought to create a facility appropriate to its context and to the mission of the US Forest Service's ethic of conservation and close ties to the land.
In addition to drought-tolerant plantings and a permeable parking lot, the GLS scope for this LEED Gold project included auxiliary site structures such as a small bridge and a trash enclosure.
