MID-LEVEL DESIGNER
Location/ San Francisco, California
Responsibilities
  • Put together working drawings with a high level of detail and clarity.
  • Develop construction details that comply with overall design intent and project budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other team members.
  • Assist in construction administration.
Qualification Requirements
  • Architectural designer with demonstrated experience in landscape architecture OR landscape architectural designer with outstanding design and working drawing experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Excellent digital visualization skills and good freehand graphics are a must.
  • Strong external communication skills and confidence in interacting with internal team members and clients.
  • Must be highly organized, efficient, self-motivated/self-directing, reliable, proficient at multi-tasking, detail oriented and familiar with standard project and office management procedures.
  • Proficiency in AutoCad, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Revit is a plus.
  • LEED accreditation is a plus.

SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Location/ San Francisco, California
Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee design and technical tasks on diverse projects with an emphasis on both large-scale urban public spaces and construction detailing/administration.
  • Review designs, specifications, occasional cost estimates, and construction documents to ensure quality and aesthetic standards are met.
  • Collaborate with project teams during concept and schematic design phases to anticipate technical issues.
  • Manage and oversee projects, including creating project presentations, managing client relationships, job cost tracking and participation at project meetings.
  • Mentor and develop the skills of team members through technical guidance, collaboration, review, and delegation.
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, landscape architecture, and/or urban planning. Dual degrees preferred.
  • Experience with effective construction administration, including reviewing RFIs and submittals.
  • Licensed landscape architect in the State of California preferred.
  • 8+ years of professional experience, preferably in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate design ideas digitally and freehand.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and client management skills.
  • Proven experience successfully managing teams and overseeing multiple complex projects at one time.
  • Effective in managing deadlines and keeping projects on schedule, working with consultants, clients and contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and redline work products and project deliverables.
  • Solid understanding of California landscape materials and specifications.
  • Proficiency in planting design, grading design, and detail documentation.
  • LEED accreditation is a plus.
