October 31, 2022 – We are pleased to share that GLS has won two National Awards of Excellence from the American Society of Landscape Architects!

HOPE SF: Rebuild Potrero, a 38-acre redevelopment of aging public housing that reconnects an isolated neighborhood while protecting residents from displacement, has won the 2022 Award of Excellence in the Urban Design Category.

Edwin M. Lee Apartments, the first combined veteran and low-income family housing project in San Francisco, has won the 2022 Award of Excellence in the Residential Design category.

What these two projects have in common is a vision for expanding the role of landscape as a tool for building equitable communities.

Congratulations to our project partners and to our fellow award winners!⁣
