Anson Wong, ASLA

Anson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Landscape Studies from the University of Hong Kong and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

He is interested in studying the material culture and ecology of fading cultural landscapes, and their alternative roles in the rapidly transforming urban landscape. His research project on the historical Stone Wall Trees in Hong Kong earned an Honor Award in the 2019 National ASLA Student Awards. Anson is currently the President of ASLA Northern California Chapter, and holds a leadership position in the non-profit organization HKPSI, where he advocates for public space right and diversity through social media and film production.
